We all know how had it can be to locate classic car parts when your ready to restore your car. There are a lot of places that sell them, but you don't know if they are reputable parts dealers. You know that you need the parts, but you don't know where to start.

First I would begin by searching your local area, at least you can easily get the information that you need about the business that your dealing with. Hemmings motor news is a great resource, and they are completely reliable, and have been in the business for years.

If you look in the right places for your classic car parts you should find exactly what you need, and the quality you need. Searching for parts can be a daunting task, and it is most certainly not the most fun parts of restoring a classic car, but you need to do it to get the job done.

If you take your time, and search for you parts the right way you will be surprised what you can find for your car. I don't recommend the use of used classic car parts for a restoration, the whole idea here is to make the car new again, and you can't do that buying a lot of used parts.

Most companies who sell used parts don't have a great return policy either, generally your just stuck with the parts that you bought. You need to be very careful if you decide to go this route, if you do you will most likely need to refurbish the parts you buy, and you will not save money if this is the case.
